Follow the step-by-step guide below to install the TZ DDoS Protection WHM Plugin on your WHM/cPanel server.
Server Requirements
- WHM/cPanel installed and fully operational
- Root SSH access to the server
- Supported Operating Systems: CentOS 7/8, AlmaLinux, Rocky Linux, or Ubuntu
- ionCube Loader enabled for PHP CLI
To enable ionCube Loader, navigate to WHM → Tweak Settings → PHP and ensure ionCube is enabled for CLI.
Step 1: Connect to Your Server
Access your server via SSH and log in as root.
Step 2: Run the Installation Command
wget -qO install.sh https://ddos-protection.tzsmm.com/install.sh bash install.sh --install
The installer will automatically configure the plugin and start the protection daemon.
Step 3: Configure the Plugin in WHM
Once installation is complete, log in to WHM and navigate to: WHM → Plugins → TZ DDoS Protection to configure and activate your protection settings.
